3 times a year the Auer Dult comes to Munich – a fair featuring children’s rides, clothing, a manner of food and drinks, curiosities, and most importantly a large antiques section. I love sifting through all the old stuff, and made a few purchases myself or cutlery and hat hooks which I still need to put up. Hans bought a gorgeous fob watch and my mother a beautiful traditional necklace she wore with her dirndl to my grandmother’s birthday.
