Our first night in Barcelona, exploring the city in the darkness. I love how the textures on the buildings create such beautiful high contrast images with the shadows. These were all shot without tripod (didn’t want to lug one around Europe) on about 1.4f and ISO400. Slow shutter speed hand-held, so they wouldn’t hold up too well blown up, but I love the inkiness of the black sky against the lit up facades so wanted to share anyway.
